About me
I'm a . . .
reader, especially of young adult fiction.
writer, of fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and more.
teacher of 8th grade Language Arts.
cook and baker.
student, always!
believer in books, writing, and people.
Our class
Whether it's a "Reading day" or "English day," here are some things to know. . .
We'll be writing and reading every day, regardless of what class it is--reading and writing go hand in hand!
You'll bring a book (of your choice!) to class
every day
You'll read a book for 15+ minutes a night (EVERY NIGHT!)
We'll be working hard all year so keep up with your work!
My policies
Homework must be turned into the homework bin or in Google Classroom on the day it is due to be considered turned in on time.
Absences are students' responsibility.
Any work done in class is considered class work and can be graded as such at any time.
Any disruption to other students' learning will not be tolerated.
